Power of the Internet

There's only one place where you can decode binary code, learn the color of a wedding dress bought at the world's largest mall, and find the product dispensed by the first US vending machines that is banned in Singapore.

Pretty obvious, isn't it?  That wonderful little thing called the Internet.

One of the best ways to discover all the little gems on the world wide web is through A Google a Day.  Every day, Google comes up with a new question for you to answer by searching the web.  There are a lot of random facts to find, such as the answers to "A famous literary character suffers from kyphosis.  What title did he receive with his crown?"  (King of Fools)

Of course, if you were playing A Google a Day, you would already know that.

So if you like to be that annoying kid who knows all of these random, useless facts (isn't it so much fun?)  go play!  You can view all the past puzzles and impress your friends with your vast knowledge.

Google a Day aside, the Internet is changing everything about the world we live in.  Just to blow your mind with some really crazy facts...
  • The top 10 in demand jobs didn't exist ten years ago, ,which means that America's students are being prepared for jobs that don't even exist in 2004.
  • There are 5X as many words in the English language now than in Shakespeare's time.
  • A week's worth of the NY times contains more info than a person as likely to come across in a lifetime in the 18th century.
  • By 2013, a supercomputer will be built that exceeds the computational capacities of the human brain.
Interesting, huh?  Follow the link for even more...
